The class will last up to five hours, but it really depends on the instructor. After which, if successful, you will be granted the BLS certification accredited by the American Hearts Association. It’s a classroom- based training with equipment and manuals that will make it more effective. The class can be conducted in a hospital, in a church, or in a fire station. What you need to make sure is that the instructor is qualified with proper accreditation. You may expect to pay for at least $65 to attend, take an examination, and be certified in this class.
