CPR certification is required by most careers in heath care

CPR certification is even greatly required for becoming a medical doctor. Doctors have taken the Hippocratic oath, and with that, it is part of their responsibility to revive patients, not only in the hospital, but wherever the incident might have taken place. This responsibility also rests on the shoulders of nurses if the doctors are not around, which is why CPR certification is required in becoming a nurse.

CPR certification is the major requirement for becoming a paramedic or emergency response provider. This is what defines their whole career, keeping the patients alive during emergency situations. People in this career field have mastered the art of emergency cardiovascular care as well as advanced cardiac life support. The CPR certification for this job requires renewal every two years. Lifeguards and firemen are also required to have CPR certification.

CPR skills are greatly required for getting a job as a lifeguard. Providing CPR is part of safety. When there is flame there is smoke, and smoke can easily congest the lungs and bring heart and lung problems. This is the main reason why firemen should have CPR certification. Coaches and trainers need to have CPR skills, because heart and lung problems may happen to people doing rigorous activities.
